On 22nd of October 2019 we held a commemoration at the Gate of Dawn in Vilnius remembering the heroes who took to the streets and supported the Hungarian revolution (many of them suffered retaliation, including saying goodbye to their university studies.)
Ambassador Gábor Diczházi and Darius Joudas, famous historian held a speech. Sarunas Rinkevicius, student of the University of Vilnius, representing the young generation read out the names of the veterans. Representatives from the Vilnius Municipality has attended the event as well. After the commemoration we held a small reception.
